Paula O'Malley, Owner/Artistic Director, has been dancing, performing and teaching for most of her life. She started dancing when she was
5 years old. She grew up studying tap, jazz, ballet, and acrobatics. She continued her studies, specializing in jazz dance, with Clint Hamblin
and Jeannette Neill both of Boston. As an original member of The Jeannette Neill Dance Company, she performed throughout the Boston area.
Later went to New York where she continued to study with master teachers. She opened her studio in 1994, and today continues to take master
dance classes and attend dance conventions across the country to further her own dance education.
Michelle Amorim, Associate Teacher, has knowledge of all dance styles, specializing in ballet and pointe. Michelle started teaching at the age
of 13, and had her own dance studio at 18. After a year of owning her own studio, she decided to pursue a college education. She graduated
from Stonehill College with a double degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice. Thereafter, she obtained her masters degree in Social Work at
Simmons Graduate School. She currently works as an adjustment councilor for middle and high school students in the Attleboro school system.
Miss Michelle teaches the ballet and pointe classes.
Cheryl Hobbs, Associate Teacher, has been dancing since she was 2! She has been teaching at local dance schools for over 14 years. She has
been teaching with us for six years. Miss Cheryl specializes in tots, pre-school, and kindergarten classes.
Carly Ouimette, Associate Teacher, has been dancing most of her life. She has competed in and won many of the local and national dance
competitions. She is a recent graduate of Dean College in Franklin where she graduated in the top of her class with a major in dance and a minor
in child psychology. She has been teaching dance at the studio for the past six years.
Kelly Conca, Associate Teacher, has been dancing since the age of 8. Kelly started her dance training here, at the Paula O'Malley School of
Dance. She was in the first group of students to perform in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. She trained at the studio for 10 years, and then
went on to Bridgewater State College where she double majored in Education and Dance. During her dance career at Bridgewater, she performed
and choreographed for the Bridgewater Dance Company, Bridgewater Dance Team and Hip Hop Team. She has been the dance director at the
YMCA summer camp program for the past four years. She also has appeared as an extra in the movie 'Bride Wars'. Kelly will be teaching hip hop .
